March 1995
MGF 1.8i unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show with 120bhp engine.
December 1995
First UK cars delivered.
March 1996
MGF VVC model introduced with 145bhp engine.
August 1997
New style convertible roof introduced, factory-fit leather and optional 16" alloy wheels.
October 1997
Limited edition Abingdon model, 500 produced (including only 150 of the VVC version, making
this a very rare MGF).
May 1999
MGF LE introduced.
September 1999
2000 model year cars announced, together with Steptronic.
July 2000
MGF SE unveiled, finished in Wedgewood blue. Production limited to 500 units.
March 2001
1.6i engine announced, together with the ultimate and most powerful MGF Trophy 160 model, available in either Anthracite, Trophy blue, Yellow, or Red, with matching interior trim detailing.
Only 2000 MGF Trophy 160 cars were produced for worldwide sale and less than 500 of these very collectable cars remain in the UK.

MGTF unveiled in TF115, TF120 Stepspeed, TF135 and TF160 versions.
April 2002
Golden Jubilee TF160 with unique gold paint and trim.

MGTF SE Sprint announced with Sports Pack, including ABS and uprated racing caliper front brakes, with 16" 11 spoke alloy wheels.

TF Sunstorm LE announced.

TF 80th Anniversary model produced to celebrate 80 years of MG ( 1924-2004 ). Production limited to just 1600 individually numbered cars for worldwide distribution. Just 300 are in the
UK, with only 48 of the 160 version on the UK register. Making this the rarest of all MGTF's.
July 2004
TF Spark LE introduced. Production of 1000 cars for the UK market only.
